Coming off 6-goal wins in their previous games, the Flames and Sharks were looking to continue their offensive output at the Scotiabank Saddledome. The Flames took advantage of an early powerplay goal and never looked back, cruising to a 4-0 victory. Rene Bourque had 2 goals for the Flames and Jarome Iginla and Craig Conroy also scored one goal each. Miika Kiprusoff stopped 27 shots for his 2nd shutout of the season and his 36th in his career.
