Darryl Sutter announced that he has signed a 2-way deal with Burnaby, BC native Chris Chucko. As per team guidelines, the details of the contract were not released.

Chucko played for the AHL Quad City Flames last season. You can expect him to play the majority of the time in Abbotsford this season, except for maybe 10-15 games with the Flames.

Chucko had 28 goals and 51 points for the QC Flames last season and got a taste of the NHL when he suited up for the Calgary Flames twice in March.
