Flames re-sign Lunkmark, add Jaffrey

, , ,

The Calgary Flames have announced the re-signing of Jamie Lundmark and have also added former Vancouver Canuck forward Jason Jaffrey.

Lundmark, who played in 27 NHL games with the Flames last season, scored 8 goals and added 8 assists. He totalled 52 points in 54 games while playing with the Flames AHL affiliate in Quad Cities last season.

Jaffrey played in 14 games for the Canucks last season, tallying 2 goals and 2 assists. He added 49 points in 56 games for the Manitoba Moose, the Canucks’ AHL team.

Look for these 2 players to contribute to the Flames 4th line in spurts, when they are not lighting it up for the Abbotsford Heat, the Flames new AHL team.
