This series should be a monumental one, and I’m really looking forward to it. The Flames struggled for the last 4 games of the regular season, are ready to go for the playoffs. They’re lead (as always) by Jarome Iginla, who has a solid backing of support this post-season. Alex Tanguay, Kristian Huseilus and Daymond Langkow all had stellar seasons and will definitely bring some offensive punch to the Flames roster, while Dion Phaneuf, Brad Stuart, Robyn Regehr and Miikka Kiprusoff will lead the defense.

Detroit will be without Todd Bertuzzi for at least the first game as he’s out with a concussion. Too bad. I was looking forward to Dion knocking the lights out of him… but maybe we’ll get to see that later on in the series.

The Series Schedule is:

GM 1: Thu, April 12 @ DET 7pm ET
GM 2: Sun, April 15 @ DET 1pm ET
GM 3: Tue, April 17 @ CGY 10pm ET
GM 4: Thu, April 19 @ CGY TBD
*GM 5: Sat, April 21 @ DET 3pm ET
*GM 6: Sun, April 22 @ CGY TBD
*GM 7: Tue, April 24 @ DET TBD
*if necessary
