Tonight is the first of a series of Calgary Flames Games that will be broadcast on the big screen at various movie theatres across western Canada. “Cineplex Entertainment is all about bringing our guests more than just movies and we’re extremely pleased to be working with the Flames organization,” says Pat Marshall, Vice President Communications and Investor Relations for Cineplex Entertainment. “The only thing that is better than watching the Flames on our giant wall-to-wall curved screens, in Dolby Digital Sound, is being in the stands at the actual game. Flames’ fans now have an outstanding opportunity to come out and cheer for the home team!” Marshall went on to say: “By showing NHL Hockey at our theatres, Cineplex Entertainment is offering a fun and affordable family activity. We invite families to plan on joining us for all the Calgary pay-per-view games.” If you are interested in seeing these games, mark the following games down on your calendar:
Cineplex Entertainment invites Calgary Flames fans to experience “larger than life” hockey games on wall-to-wall screens at five participating theatre locations in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The nine regular season games scheduled to be shown will not be seen on cable television. The games will be projected onto a screen that is approximately 30 feet by 50 feet.
