
Mats Sundin lasted 7 minutes into the regular season before he took a puck above the eye. His eye is fine, and his vision is not affected, but he will still be out for at least a month with a broken bone. This is bad news for Mats, and bad news for Toronto Maple Leafs fans.
With a manager that doesn’t seem to be capable of adjusting to the new salary cap, and a team that is already being hampered by injuries, Toronto looks like it is in for a tough season. Can the Blue and White put the responsibility of leading the team on the shoulders of Eric Lindros? Will he even finish the season before his next concussion?
